About the role
As Legal Partner — Litigation, you will lead the legal escalation arm of Canton Recovery's practice. You will oversee statutory demand issuance, court actions, and enforcement proceedings for cases where amicable negotiation has been exhausted.
You will work closely with recovery agents to assess escalation viability, prepare case strategy, and represent creditor interests through Hong Kong's commercial litigation process. This is a senior role requiring formal Hong Kong legal qualification and a track record in commercial recovery litigation.
What you'll do
- Assess escalated cases for legal viability and prepare escalation strategy.
- Draft and issue statutory demands, and manage subsequent enforcement timelines.
- Represent creditor clients in court proceedings related to debt recovery.
- Advise recovery agents on legal risk and escalation thresholds.
- Maintain rigorous documentation supporting every legal action taken.

Requirements
- Hong Kong qualified solicitor

- Experience with cross-jurisdictional commercial matters
- Excellent drafting and court advocacy skills
- Strong professional ethics and regulatory discipline
